Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief Review

Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief

Percy Jackson is a young 12 Year old boy who has ADHD and Dyslexia. He is in a boarding school called Yancy Academy. After being kicked out of many different boarding schools, he finds a good one where he stays for a little while before being expelled. On a school field trip to a museum in NYC, something happens. His algebra teacher, Mrs. Dodds, attacks him while there alone. She is one of the 3 Furies looking for the lightning bolt that has been stolen. Percy unfortunately was framed by the gods. After fighting the monster, every body says that there has been no Mrs. Dodds. Everybody else was under a spell that makes them forget. (Honestly, I don't remember if it was a spell, I remember them saying something about some kind of powder or something that makes them forget.) Basically this book is about Percy going on a quest to find the lightning bolt and return it to Zeus. His two friends Grover and Anna-beth come along with him on this quest.
